Mary E Homecoming

The Mary-E, a Hoopers Island draketail originally built here in Deale in 1933, has returned home. Hopes and plans are for her to be refurbished and restored and placed on display at or near the Historic Village at Herrington Harbor North Marina.

Memorial Day Remembrance

The Society's Memorial Day Remembrance takes place on the grounds of the Cedar Grove Church in Deale at the World War II Memorial. Many veterans and their families attend the annual event.

Nutwell School

The one-room Nutwell School was transported from its original home in what is now Tracy's Landing to the Historic Village at Herrington Harbor North Marina. It has been restored and is now open as the Deale Area Museum. .
